Make sure you're eligible to receive real-time documents in a case, and if so, whether all of the required steps are completed so that you receive documents the next time there's a filing.
PDF2Go notifications are real-time emails with downloaded court filings attached.
They are available for filings where:
- Your firm has an attorney with a notice of appearance, and
- The attorney has been properly set up with PacerPro, and
- The filing is publicly available (not under seal)
Some common reasons why you might not have received PDF2Go are:
- There is no attorney at your firm with an appearance in this case
- The attorney in this case has not been set up with PacerPro in the court
- The attorney from your firm appearing in this case is admitted pro hac vice
- The filing is under seal
- The case is in N.D. Texas, N.D. Alabama, or D. Arizona
Tip: If your firm doesn't have an attorney with an appearance in the case, keep the case bookmarked with PDF2Go turned on. If we're processing documents for another firm, we'll send them to you as well. Note that these documents may start and stop at any time, depending on whether the other firm is in the case.
If you're not sure whether the attorney is properly set up with PacerPro, reach out to your firm's PacerPro admin, or to support@pacerpro.com.
If you have access to a recent Notice of Electronic Filing in the case, or to the attorney's CM/ECF credentials for the court, you can check to see whether the you and/or attorney has been set up with PacerPro:
- On the Notice of Electronic Filing, find the attorney's name and look for an email address that ends with @ecf.pacerpro.com. If this isn't there, reach out to your PacerPro admin or support@pacerpro.com for assistance
- Log into the attorney's CM/ECF account for the court, and check to see if an @ecf.pacerpro.com email address is added as a secondary recipient. If not, reach out to your PacerPro admin or support@pacerpro.com for assistance
